The first thing you will need to do is download the client here. Make sure you download all the parts on the page. You can use the test file once they're done to make sure they're all in working condition.
Next you will want to update the client and grab the DLC which can be found here.
Finally Grab the last update here, and patch your client with Rev_Emu here.
All the files will ask you to direct them to where you installed l4d2 in order to install and patch etc. It's pretty simple to follow.
The final steps will be to open up the rev.ini file and change these fields:
[SteamUser=WHATEVER YOU WANT]
[PlayerName=WHATEVER YOU WANT]
Now create a shortcut for left4dead2.exe on your desktop, right click it and click on "Properties", and overwrite this to the "Target" field.
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2.exe" -console -novid -nohltv"
Your client is now ready to play! |

All you will need to do to connect, is once your client opens the console should already be running, IF it isn't simply type this key to bring it up: ~
In the console just type: connect wes4d2.servegame.org and you will automatically be connected to the server! |
